RAD Building is a small, Twizel based family run business founded by Rob Davis in 2013. Rob and his team provide a complete and personalised construction / building service from start to finish.

RAD Building are Registered Master Builders and are passionate about the building industry and your project. We work in conjunction with our employees and subcontractors to ensure you are provided with the highest quality end product.

You will benefit from our use of time proven building methods which create longevity for your investment. We aim to always leave a positive impression by creating a durable product which is as practical as it is visually appealing.

We believe our company size enables us real opportunity to work with any client on any job no matter the size and complexity. We work all year round AND we work safely and in a fun, friendly and timely manner.

RAD Building has great working relationships with architects widely used in this area. We can work with you to produce a detailed brief that you can then take to a designer of your choice. Or we can recommend a designer best suited to your needs and that has an extensive background with designing in the Mackenzie Basin.

I already have plans and want RAD Building to produce a quote.

If you already have a set of building plans, RAD Building can work with you to make your project a reality. Just provide us with your detailed plans and site details and we can provide you with an estimated cost for the build on your site. Our quote can be based on our standard specification or your own specification. We will let you know if we need any further information than what your current plans show, or if you wish we can work with your designer to tweak or compliment your current drawings.

Rob is a Master Builder as well as a Licenced Building Practitioner.

RAD Building is a site safe member and has a strong health and safety ethic.

Rob Davis, owner and operator of RAD Building, hails from a background of Outdoor teaching in NZ’s most respected Outdoor Centres and Learning Institutes. He also had a lengthy stint working Alpine Rescue within Mt Cook National Park and is very involved within LandSAR NZ.
